:: Working Girl ::

A sneak peek into what's in the drawers of my desk that ensure I can go from meeting to happy hour and maintain my look all day.

::minimergency kit, tweezerman nail files, dior perfume, burt's bees lip balm, & kate spade idiom pencils::

::idiom pencils show personality during meetings while still looking professional::

This mini emergency kit is filled with everything you could possibly need, from a mini bottle of hair spray to a needle & thread; it's a must have for your desk (or purse or both) and you can order refills for extremely inexpensive once you've used one. Nail files because you cannot have enough, lip balm because some offices can be very dry (cough mine cough) and you need to ward off chapped lips, and my favorite Kate Spade idiom pencils. These pencils are a serious conversation start and show off your personality without interrupting!

::swankie kleenex, halls cough drops, bath & body works anti bacteria gel::

This should just be a no brainer, offices are the incubus for the viral plague (name that movie quote!) and it is imperative that you're ready for whatever virus is lingering on that tape dispenser. Swankie makes the cutest personal kleenex to keep at your desk (or again in your purse or again both) and Bath & Body Works has the best smelling anti bacterial gel, although I use it sparingly because I've heard when used too much germs become immune to it. So far so good, this winter has been virtually illness free!

Keep your essentials in your desk drawers to skirt that obnoxious trip home before happy hour or spending all day with that missing button, stained shirt, or jacked up hair.

xx
