The most fun clutch I've ever seen, this Kate Spade bag is sort of a game changer. It literally feels like a newspaper (obviously it's a delicate piece) and has card slots and multiple compartments to keep you organized despite the small size.

:: Aftermath ::

Well the Christmas holiday is officially over and while I already miss all the trimmings that come along with Christmas, I am extremely excited for some relaxation and some time to re-energize before returning to normal life. Today I had a few errands to run and surprisingly wanted to do a little shopping, until I got to the mall and decided I should wait a few days.

Obviously I am obsessed with this plaid h&m scarf, I have worn it to death in last few weeks but it's so cozy & festive for the season I couldn't help myself. I am absolutely loving the black mini mac- the indigo sheen is such an unexpected pop. I almost like it better than the silver, sometimes you think you know what you like and then the Fashion Gods show you otherwise.

Buying a work bag is a necessary evil sometimes, buying any other handbag is more fun than a bag you'll use Monday thru Friday to carry a mess of stuff. For most of us it's hard to determine what we'll need to bring home on any given day of the week so it can seem like a daunting task but here are some fool proof tips for buying a bag that will get you to and from your 9-5 with ease.

#1 Function & Fashion. The amount of pockets, top zip, long strap, and size are all very important to maintain your needs but look for something that also has some character. That may come in the form of a fun color or studs etc. Another key factor, make sure the bag isn't heavy when empty, imagine the weight once you get a laptop or some files in that thing. Ouch

#2 Classic Materials are Key. There a few materials that truly stand the test of time and hard work like leather. Leather always looks better with age and some wear but a vinyl type material will also last. Cotton, or cotton like materials (jacquard for example) won't last in harsh weather, heavy laptops, or even an accidental pen in the corner.

#3 Versatility. The ability to carry your bag in multiple ways is important. When your bag gets heavy (as most do) carrying it cross body will take the pressure off your forearm or shoulder and ease some stress off your back. When purchasing, try the long strap before leaving the store. Some straps are only meant to be carried long on the shoulder, with the length not comfortable or cute to wear cross body.
