It has been a long while since I've done an outfit post, or any post for that matter. Life has been taken over by wedding plans & other showers, I had my bridal shower on Sunday and it was so beautiful and of course I'm putting together a post today all about it! 

We shot this outfit a while ago, my hair was still rose gold which I absolutely loved the color but after the wedding my hair will be cut into an asymmetrical bob again. I cut my hair a long time ago this way and felt that it was more chic and made me look more my age. Super short & super blonde & so chic. For all you Bachelor lovers out there, since my hair is now long and blonde I've been told repeatedly I look like Lauren B. and so much so that I started following her on Instagram. It's a compliment because the girl is gorgeous & of course the winner so go you Lauren B.! 

After the wedding I will return to posting outfits but life has gotten out of control within the last few months! I miss talking to you, sharing my style & shooting with my photographer who is always so much fun!  It feels like May marks the new year instead of January because the wedding will be over & life can return to normal... it makes me really sad actually!

:: Looks of Falls Past ::

I absolutely love looking back at old outfits, it's one of the perks of style blogging to be able to see how your style has evolved and be inspired. Last Fall was all about leather & texture and this year will be no different, but adding it more hats & luxe details to maximize on the season's transition. More to come!

Let us first acknowledge the major sass this outfit brought out in me! I was testing the cropped sweater trend and to be honest, it was fun to try but not for me. I usually pair this sweater with a peplum or a long button down. But with a leather skirt, sassy!

I was feeling extra feisty and felt like my new Steve Madden sneakers needed to be worn with my Clueless inspired sweater. The only thing this outfit was missing was knee high socks!

:: Aftermath ::

Well the Christmas holiday is officially over and while I already miss all the trimmings that come along with Christmas, I am extremely excited for some relaxation and some time to re-energize before returning to normal life. Today I had a few errands to run and surprisingly wanted to do a little shopping, until I got to the mall and decided I should wait a few days.

Obviously I am obsessed with this plaid h&m scarf, I have worn it to death in last few weeks but it's so cozy & festive for the season I couldn't help myself. I am absolutely loving the black mini mac- the indigo sheen is such an unexpected pop. I almost like it better than the silver, sometimes you think you know what you like and then the Fashion Gods show you otherwise.
