Hey pretties!! I've been noticing a certain pair of wedges getting A LOT of attention from other bloggers due to the Shopbop sale and I ordered them last year for my trip to Mexico so I thought I'd share a review after having them for an entire season!

The first thing I love about these wedges is how lightweight they are! In general, wedges are extremely easy to walk in despite the heel height because your foot is essentially flat so there is no awkward balancing act happening! Sometimes though, wedges can get heavy so you feel like your clomping around but with these you never feel that way! They are so comfortable and easy to walk in you'll feel like you're wearing flat sandals. Also- they are so versatile because of the neutral tones you can wear with jeans and an eyelet tank or with a ruffled sundress so whether on vacation or going out with friends, these shoes make getting dressed easy!

WARNING- these wedges are TALL!! If you're already a little insecure about wearing heels because of your height, be aware the wedges on these are no joke high. I would recommend for my tall soul sisters the flat sandal version instead because at 5'5" I get a little awkward about just how tall these make me! And I'm on the short side of average height.

I would HIGHLY recommend these shoes, especially now during the Shopbop sale because they are a bit of an investment but I'll tell you that they're worth it because you'll be living in these all season!

:: SJP ::

Well the day has finally come when Sarah Jessica Parker debuts her long awaited shoe line to the world this February at Nordstrom. I was expecting a Carrie Bradshaw-eque line but she has officially shed that skin and the line is a lot more SJP's own personal style. I have to admit I am not 100% in love with this line but there are a few shining stars.

Not ground breaking by any means but there are a few pairs that if not for the hefty price tag I would dabble.  The line also includes a few classic handbags in bright colors. I am excited to see how this line evolves, the name alone will make it an undoubted success.

:: December Favorites ::

My 2nd favorite month of the year, September is 1st obviously my birthday & Fall fashion mags, and this month's favorites are very festive. They scream holiday cheer, too bad the holidays go so fast!

The scarf should come as no surprise considering I've instagrammed it about a million times this month! My Sam & Libby heels made a huge smash at holiday parties and are extremely comfortable. My gold clutch is the best ever and with the clutch trend blowing up it was perfect. Oh my fair isle leggings, how wonderful they are! So festive and cozy I lived in them this month and every chilly month here after.

These will obviously be a constant favorite but December was my first full month with these babies and I can't imagine life without them. I have gotten so many compliments on them and they're so comfortable!

I always neglect the earring, for some reason this is the piece of jewelry I hardly change out so it's nice to have some classic crystal studs that go with everything! 

December was a good month! And if you follow me on social media you will probably guess a few of January's favorites!

:: 2014 ::

Today's recovery from last night's fun is brutal but I had a blast on New Years Eve and feel like this year I have some resolutions that are sort of mandatory to fulfill.

First things first though, what did I wear? If you guys haven't shopped via The Outnet yet, you must! I downloaded the app to my phone (sort of a giant mistake if you ask my bank account) and I am on that thing 24/7, I call it exercising my self discipline. I ordered my dress for NYE from the app, it was fun and flirty but not your typical NYE dress.

We went to a party at the art museum in downtown Milwaukee and it was so fun! I added an earcuff and gold plated belt, both from H&M but I have found that the retailer doesn't always offer everything online {similar & similar}. 

My resolutions include getting a better handle on my finances, don't get me wrong I am not terrible with money and all my bills are paid on time but I can be impulsive. With my new job and new pay check I want to make sure I am putting my money in smarter places other than just my closet (easier said than done, right). The second is to take better care of my health, more specifically getting on a more regular exercise routine, I tend to get super motivated for a while and then fall off. I need to change that. Third, blog more consistently. I find a great deal of satisfaction in blogging even if only 1 person is looking at it so I need to be more consistent if not only for you guys but for myself!

:: Aftermath ::

Well the Christmas holiday is officially over and while I already miss all the trimmings that come along with Christmas, I am extremely excited for some relaxation and some time to re-energize before returning to normal life. Today I had a few errands to run and surprisingly wanted to do a little shopping, until I got to the mall and decided I should wait a few days.

Obviously I am obsessed with this plaid h&m scarf, I have worn it to death in last few weeks but it's so cozy & festive for the season I couldn't help myself. I am absolutely loving the black mini mac- the indigo sheen is such an unexpected pop. I almost like it better than the silver, sometimes you think you know what you like and then the Fashion Gods show you otherwise.

:: Twinkle Toes ::

I have never been a big fan of pointed toe shoes but I realized just the other day that I'm slowly starting to accumulate more pointed toes shoes in spite of myself.

I don't think I need to share the story about my metallic flats, they've been on high rotation lately and my black Zara boots are from their TRF line last year and were the greatest pair of boots to have ever happened to me in a long while. It's funny how your taste changes as you grow. And for a girl who neglects her shoe collection (or neglects expanding it) having 5 pairs of any trend is a huge deal!

I finally got to style my Zara flats, and while they tore up my feet I love them and got tons of compliments.

My look was menswear inspired with comfort in mind while letting the flats be the focal point of the outfit. And who doesn't love a good novelty sweater/tuxedo trouser combo? {Also important, the car on that sweater is a corvette} 

And for Halloween (sneak peak here) I was.... Bad with names! Which works out because I actually am really bad at names, maybe in 2014 I resolve to change that.
