Hey Loves! We just got back from Mexico, I am tan & happy! I took the time away to reflect, relax, and recharge to gear up for a fun summer ahead! I will be sharing a life update soon as some really positive changes have come about in my life and it means I'll have more time to devote to getting back into this little passion project!

We stayed at the same resort where we were married, see some of my thoughts on the resort here! It was a completely different trip without 15 or so of our very best friends with us. We ate, drank, and hung out by the pool but it certainly was not as much of a party! After a great first year of marriage, it was a nice way to cap it all off!

:: AZ ::

::i finally got some color but also discovered i'm slightly allergic to spf {ugh}::

To say that going back to work last week was tough is the understatement of the year! Arizona was so hot and sunny and magical- there is nothing better than spending a few days by the pool with your best friends! We actually managed to get a lot of stuff squeezed in {casino, top golf, tempe days festival etc} while still spending ample time in the pool. It was so hot that the only way to be outside was floating on a raft or sitting on the shaded patio playing endless rounds of hockey. 

I am not a hugely avid applier of SPF {I know, I know} I generally apply once when I first get out in the sun and don't worry about it. This trip though, with how hot it was and the lack of clouds in the sky I was pretty good about reapplying only to find that I am allergic in the form of a slightly itchy, mildly red rash! I got amazing color, the perfect bronze tan without burning which was nice but at the expense of comfortability. 

If you have a chance to make it out to Arizona you definitely should go! The views are breathtaking and the people are insanely friendly! We enjoyed every last minute we were there but pack super light!

:: Nashville ::

My spur of the moment trip to Nashville was so fun! We acted like 22 year olds and stayed out until all hours of the night laughing and having fun! Looking for a fun city to visit? I recommend Nashville!

LIVE FROM NASHVILLE!! I have a problem committing to a phone background for very long but I have found a default background in my iPhone 5 (I have the most recent update) that I have a feeling will stick around for a while. It mixes 2 current Spring/Summer trends into one pretty & vibrant wallpaper

:: Weekend Florals ::

I finally got a proper weekend bag! With all the weddings I have this year, all of which will require at least 2 nights in a hotel, it was imperative that I get a bag to hold all my essentials. And for 1/2 off too!!

::large duffle/vera bradley::

I am not a huge fan of the Vera Bradley hand bags but my friend has this duffle in a different print and it was so light weight even after being packed with all of her stuff, so I decided to go for it. This print is way more subtle than most of the prints available and I love the colors. Here I come wedding season and cheers to more weekends away!
